On 24 June, Catherine Piana, the ASSA-i Director General, joined the ACI Europe Security Committe in Prague to present its new Guide on "Purchasing Quality Aviation Security Services" and the EN Standard 17483-2 on Aviation Security.
This was a great opportunity for ASSA-i to promote quality and best value procurement. Several participants indicated that this was a very useful tool and even one to follow when writing a tender.
The Guide and the Standard are complementary tools in a quality approach and are meant to support buyers when selecting providers.
